Over the past few weeks I had dropped off feeds one by one and we got down to just two feeds from me a day and replaced the others with solid foods and water but the two feeds from me were still 'expected' from Milla and she would take them very enthusiastically so I kept them up for two weeks but finally decided at the beginning of last week to introduce formula bit by bit (as our trip is sneaking up) to see what reaction it would have. So on Monday, after her lunch I gave Milla her sippy cup with warm formula in it and she sculled 1/2 of it without blinking an eyelid but then didn't want anymore - which was a better reaction than what I thought. I continued to feed her me at night and formula in the day for the week and she was finishing both until last night. I offered her a feed from me and she was there for only seconds then put her thumb in her mouth and cuddled into my shoulder as she does when she's tired so we put her to bed.......... at about 8:30 she woke - really unlike her - and the only thing I could think of after checking her heat and nappy was she didn't get anything at her feed from me earlier so we made up a formula and it disappeared in record time and she was asleep straight away! I guess that's it - she has let us know what's going on.... so it's formula and food from now on!

100% weaned!
It's official - Milla is now fully weaned!
