Trick or Treat!

Our house is all decked out for Halloween and tonight we had a steady stream of door knockers so of course Milla and Harris who I thought wouldn't 'get it' wanted to have a turn!



At the last minute I ran around the house to find two outfits and two buckets and off the witch and Dragon went!




Every house in our street has some kind of decoration and everyone was handing out chocolates, candy, stickers and more!!

Miilla's first day of Preschool!

On Tuesday Milla Harris and I visited 2 local preschools with the intention to find one for Milla to start attending next year. One of the 2 stood out by a mile and after finally convincing Milla that it was just a visit and we couldn't stay I grabbed an enrolment form to fill in.
When dropping the forms off the next day I asked the teacher if there were any spots available now for Milla to possibly take as she was so keen... the answer was YES!! We went for a quick trip to the shops for a lunch box and drink bottle - pink of course - and had Milla's bag packed ready for her first day today!!


Our little girl woke up 3 different times last night wondering if it was morning yet and couldn't have eaten her breakfast or dressed herself any faster this morning in excitement!!



With a quick kiss goodbye she was off and loving it!!

Happy 11th Flissy!

Hooray for birthdays! Last night we celebrated Fliss' 11th birthday with a little party at home.


Milla, Harris and I had made meters and metres of paper chains earlier in the week for decorations. So after snoozes yesterday we strung them up outside and blew up a bunch of balloons too.


Auntie Julia, Uncle Anton, Jo & Oskar joined us for a BBQ dinner and lots of giggles before we all sang Happy Birthday to Felicity who then hummed it straight back to us with a big smile!


Felicity's gluten free cake was a hit with all the kids but especially Fliss, who has developed a sweet tooth lately and LOVES jelly beans!
