Day in the Mountains

We are winter lovers so took the chance of having a Saturday with nothing planned to drive to the Blue Mountains and enjoy the cold!!




We stopped at Wentworth Falls for lunch, a walk around and to take in the views from the lookouts.



We then drove to a cafe at the top of The Valley of The Waters for a hot chocolate, slice of cake and one last run around then piled two tired kids back into the warm car and had a very sleepy quiet drive home again.

It's not often these two are this close to one another without fingers poking in eyes or something similar so I had to snap a couple of shots!!

'Big girl' bed!

Milla's new 'big girl' bed arrived late yesterday afternoon to a very curious little girl.....


So as soon as Daddy walked in the door from work he and Milla got to work building.....





It had to be tested for durability and safety of course.....


Looks like it passed the test.....


We didn't hear a peep after putting Milla to bed.....




until tiny footprints came into our bedroom first thing this morning!

Tummy Time!

Everyday I try to give Harrison a bit of 'Tummy Time' to build up his strength. I lay out a blanket on the rug and pop him on his belly then most of the time Milla and I lay with him and we all have a chat...


I did this just like every other day late last week and after a good play on his tummy Harrison was tired so I picked him up and settled him down for a snooze in the cot. When I came back into the family room Milla was being a good 'mummy' to her teddies and dolls and giving them their 'Tummy Time' turn!
