Milla's New Do!

Miss Milla had a 'Big Girl' hair cut today... I wish I had taken the camera to the salon... she looked very cute with the cape on sitting in the chair!
Her hair was starting to get thin at the ends, was all different lengths with the new growth and was getting into her mouth when she ate so we ran it by Daddy and got the okay to have a cut!

The six week check!

Harrison had his 6 week check today and passed with flying colours!


His head circumference is 38.5cm, his weight is 4.85kg (10.69 pound) and his length is 57cm - all 'average/normal'! Weird to think he is 0.7kg heavier at 6 weeks old than what Milla weighed at birth!!!
The nurse just pointed out two things - he has a slight flat spot on the back left side of his head so we need to encourage him to lay on the other side as well as give him some tummy time and the other thing was his small amount of cradle cap which the nurse suggested we rub sorbolene into. Apart from that we were in and out of there in minutes!
Our next appointment is at the end of May so we can combine Harrison's 10 week check with Milla's 18 month check.

Harrison's first shower!

After our unexpected 7 hour trip home from Laurieton due to the rain and traffic we arrived home and went straight into dinner and shower mode for Milla. Once the warm shower started up Matt decided he wanted to jump in to and after changing Harrison's nappy figured it was easier to give him a wash in the shower too than to set up the bath.



Harrison LOVED it - he just curled up on Matt's shoulder and almost fell asleep!
