I snapped a few pics just today of the girls playing in the tent and when I loaded them onto the computer I remembered we had a similar shot from summer last year - look how much they both have grown!!!

Growing Girls
With the warmer weather now here the back yard has become a big part of the day for both girls.... we grab the picnic blanket and shade tent and head outside. Milla plays in and around the tent (mainly eating grass and leaves) and Fliss mucks around the yard popping into the tent every now and then for some shade and a rest.

The path of Milla...
Now Milla has worked out crawling she is 'exploring' every corner of the house. You can walk from room to room and know exactly where she has been.... 'the path of Milla' we have called it. In the last two days I have taken photos to show you what we mean...

At the book case checking out the videos

The bathroom door where she 'plays' while mummy gets ready

At the bathroom door again - just cause there is stuff to get into

Under the computer desk - cheeky grin!!

Photo feedback!
Giggleberry Creations is still going strong and slowly picking up sales here and there.... and with Christmas just around the corner I've started thinking about little ways to get Giggleberry's name out a little further.
Just today I received an email from a recent buyer from the United States who placed a custom order for three sets of flags to decorate her craft show tent. The show was this weekend just gone and she tells me she has another booked for this coming weekend - the best part of the email was the photo she attached of her tent all set up with Giggleberry flags hanging proudly around it!!
Now no advertising is better than that!!!

Latest Video of playroom
A snippet of footage from last weekend with Felicity and Matt in the Playroom - enjoy!
Milla's first crawl!!!
Milla and I were playing at home and I figured it had been a while since I had caught her on video so pulled it out and taped us playing together at the coffee table (first clip) so the camera was out later in the day when I was floating around tidying before leaving to pick up Matt from work. Milla was sitting on the rug over near the bookcase and saw me picking up her toys and just decided she wanted to be involved so without even thinking crawled!!! I grabbed the camera which of course made her stop but once I sat back down and played with her toys again she continued (second clip) wobbly but determined!
We then picked Matt up from work (Milla's favorite thing to do in the whole world) and came back home where she showed Daddy what she can do... she is now crawling much stronger and at any chance she gets!!

100% weaned!
It's official - Milla is now fully weaned!
Over the past few weeks I had dropped off feeds one by one and we got down to just two feeds from me a day and replaced the others with solid foods and water but the two feeds from me were still 'expected' from Milla and she would take them very enthusiastically so I kept them up for two weeks but finally decided at the beginning of last week to introduce formula bit by bit (as our trip is sneaking up) to see what reaction it would have. So on Monday, after her lunch I gave Milla her sippy cup with warm formula in it and she sculled 1/2 of it without blinking an eyelid but then didn't want anymore - which was a better reaction than what I thought. I continued to feed her me at night and formula in the day for the week and she was finishing both until last night. I offered her a feed from me and she was there for only seconds then put her thumb in her mouth and cuddled into my shoulder as she does when she's tired so we put her to bed.......... at about 8:30 she woke - really unlike her - and the only thing I could think of after checking her heat and nappy was she didn't get anything at her feed from me earlier so we made up a formula and it disappeared in record time and she was asleep straight away! I guess that's it - she has let us know what's going on.... so it's formula and food from now on!

Matt's Great News!!

What a busy few weeks our little family has had lately.... with a sick Milla, a busy Felicity learning new stuff daily, Giggleberry selling wholesale, planning the Masquerade Dinner etc etc and on top of it all Matt has been working his butt off at work - but with great reward!! As of today he and his office had a contract confirmed by a client which means the business has made it's budget for the financial year already! Meaning every job/contract they sign up from here till next June is all profit!!
With Matt's company only being 6 years young this is the first time they have made the yearly budget so early and are now 'sitting pretty' for 2008-09!! Needless to say Matt is feeling very chuffed and is loving work!

A special post for Papa...
Last Friday was a busy day of nursing a sick Milla and playroom with Felicity. It seems Milla hasn't gotten over her cough and was obviously feeling terrible as she was on Panadol all day and wanted hugs whenever she was awake - which was more than normal as her cough kept waking her up!
So poor Felicity didn't get as much playroom time as a normal Friday because of me being with Milla but I think she found her own way to manage.... About half way through the day when Felicity realised it wasn't a 'normal' Friday and that I couldn't be in the playroom with her as much as she would of liked she came to me with a photo in hand of Grandma Barbara, Papa, Uncle Greame, Aunty Erin, Great Nana Spencer and me at Uncle Greame's graduation. Felicity took my finger and pointed straight to Papa until I said who it was..... now normally she would do this with pictures and photos just out of interest of what is in them and will use our fingers to point out everything in the picture but this time it was just Papa she was interested in.
Felicity then looked at it closely and took it into her playroom and placed it on her windowsill and began to play.
Matt and I figured later on that night that Papa was the last 'volunteer' (in Fliss's eyes) to visit and be with her in her playroom and she must have decided that if Amy is too busy with Milla then she would have her volunteer join her in the playroom! Cute!
I even took a photo while she was in the shower that night to prove it......
