2 Full Years & Loving It!

29th of July 2006 -The sun was beaming and there were smiles all round!
29th of July 2008 - The sun has just broken through the rain clouds as I sit here and type and there are still smiles all round!

Matt and I were talking just last night about how much we have managed to pack into our first two years of marriage.... and how we would never had thought even half of it would have happened if you had asked us on our wedding day but we have loved every second and wouldn't change it for the world!

This time two years ago Matt and Fliss were probably just arriving at Peppers Manor House and I was being 'fluffed' at the hair dressers feeling amazingly calm! I had always thought on my wedding day I would be a nervous mess worrying about every little detail but what I can remember was feeling fabulous and excited and I even remember thinking "why aren't I worried about the half hour we are running late with the make-up artist?". I'm not sure if that's what others saw of me - a calm bride - but that's what I remember.

Now only two years on we have stacks and stacks of great memories already made and so many yet to make!

We are going out for 'date night' tonight - just the two of us (thanks Auntie Carley & Uncle Nath) and plan to have dinner at a restaurant we have been many times before but haven't quite had the excuse or chance to enjoy for a little while.... Yay!

Can't wait for the next two years and then the next two then the next two and the next and the next and the next and the............

Wednesdays Way

This week has felt so easy and "cruisey" after our hectic last week. Matt, Milla and I all dropped in to the Peetz house hold on Sunday night and ended up staying for dinner, a bit of Le Tour de France and a general catch up as it felt like we hadn't seen them in ages!. I have managed to make and list a few sets of flags for Giggleberry, and Milla & I have been taking advantage of the tiny amounts of warm sun that has been out, taking walks around Eastwwod, then heading indoor for the rest of the day to escape the chilly wind. Wednesday was back to normal with Lowani coming over to be babysat for the afternoon, after a few weeks off from little colds and things that seem to be floating around at the moment. Milla loves having a visitor to stare at and play along side.

Thursday night we have dinner planned, at our place, with the Peetz's and Janette to catch up on her traveling stories. Then a playroom day with Fliss on Friday before another weekend rolls around...... hope this finds everyone else well!

Muddled Up Week.....

We are in the middle of a muddled up week in our home - a 'non-routine' week - with school holidays and Heather (Felicity's playroom buddy) away in the States as well, the "normal" swapping days are all out of wack so Felicity is with us Tuesday night to Sunday afternoon. So it's a busy one, Felicity has even helped with the housework (see picture).

Matt has been able to have two half days from work and the playroom is getting ALLOT of action! Milla LOVES having her big sister here but this week she has had a bit of a flu and has spent much of it in bed on Panadol.

It's been a week of early bed times for All of us!

Flissa's fancy do!

We had a phone call early in the week from Tanya asking Matt's permission to give Felicity a 'big girl' hair cut...... Matt said sure and that was that........ we then had to wait and wait til Thursday rolled around to see the 'new do'.
I picked Fliss up today and got the first sneak peak at the very mature hair style!

I think you'll agree it looks great and Fliss now looks sooooo much older! and by the second pic I think Milla will need to get use to her sister's new look but likes it too.
